Yes. Every expense table view has a one-click CSV export. The file includes date, vendor, category, amount, and notes — exactly what most accountants and tax software expect.

All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Strong Arm supports two-factor authentication (TOTP) and automatically logs you out after 15 minutes of inactivity — with a 2-minute warning before the session ends. Your data is never shared with third parties.

JPG, PNG, and PDF receipts are all supported. On mobile, you can use your camera directly — the upload button triggers the camera app so you can photograph receipts on the spot.

The AI Savings Advisor is part of the Pro Budget Tracker. It uses GPT-4o to analyze up to 12 months of your real expense data and generate a personalized savings plan. For each category, it shows your current monthly average, a suggested spending limit, the percentage reduction, and specific actionable tips. You can apply individual suggestions as budgets or apply all of them at once with one click.

Pro ($3/month) unlocks two features: Strong Arm Bank Sync and Strong Arm Budget Tracker. Strong Arm Bank Sync connects your bank accounts via Plaid and automatically imports transactions — the first 31 days of history are free, and subsequent syncs cost 3¢ per new transaction. Strong Arm Budget Tracker lets you set monthly spending limits per category with visual progress bars, alerts at 80% and 100%, and AI-powered Smart Suggestions based on your spending history. Each $3 payment adds 31 days to your account — payments stack, so renewing early just extends your existing time.

Strong Arm Bank Sync uses Plaid to securely connect your bank or credit card accounts. Your bank credentials are never stored by Strong Arm — Plaid handles authentication. After connecting, you get a free 31-day historical import. Subsequent syncs cost 3¢ per new transaction (same as a receipt scan). Imported transactions are automatically cross-matched to your existing receipt scans, and matched expenses show a "Bank Verified" badge.

Yes. Pro is a monthly subscription — simply don't renew when your current period ends and access will expire naturally. There are no cancellation fees. Your receipt scan credits and expense history are never affected by Pro status.
